I spent the first weekend of August touring around Montreal with my parents. I always forget what it’s like to travel with parents, specifically with my parents. Everyone has their own comfortable way of travel, and ours differs by quite a bit. But, it was their holiday (I’m only two hours train from Montreal) so we did the things they wanted to do at a pace that seemed comforting to them.

Anyway, enough about traveling with the folks. The one thing that really blew my mind about Montreal was the Botanical Garden. The garden was founded in 1931 for no reason that I can tell other than being an amateur photographer’s dream. I could spend hours upon hours photographing that beautiful place. It contains a collection of themed gardens and gigantic statues made from plant life. Not really sure what that would look like? Check out my pictures and find out for yourself!

The end of the tour was the resting place for this old girl.  One of my favorite shots is the last one I took
